About Adare Physiotherapy Clinic
This clinic was established by Chartered Physiotherapist Gay Peart-Murphy in 1999. It provides high quality Physiotherapy in Adare Co. Limerick in Ireland. Treatment is provided for back and neck pain, sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions such as rotator cuff repairs & respiratory disorders. Orthotics can be prescribed for painful feet as well as hands on treatment to ease foot pain. Dry needling is used for relieving stubborn pain in the body, as well as deep massage and stretching. Therapeutic exercise is an integral part of treatment as pain recedes. This is a friendly welcoming clinic providing excellent treatment. Ergonomic assessments can be provided to help you sit comfortably at your desk.

Biography: Gay Peart Murphy is a member of the Irish and English Societies of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP & CSP). She is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin.After qualifying, she worked for three years in St James’s Hospital in Dublin before traveling to Canada. Here she was successfully certified by the Canada Arthritis and Rheumatism Society and ran the specialized rheumatology physiotherapy section in Calgary General Hospital.On her return to Ireland, Gay worked in the sports arena treating rugby injuries and traveled as team physiotherapist with the Irish underage swimmers to junior competitions across Europe. Training student physiotherapists has always been on Gay’s agenda, as she was employed by Trinity College Dublin as both a tutor in the hospitals and later as a lecturer in the School of Physiotherapy.In 1992, Gay began work in the Orthopaedic Hospital in Croom, as the Senior Physiotherapist, where she remained for seven years. In 1999, she decided to put all her experience into her own clinic and opened “Adare Physiotherapy Clinic”. The Clinic has served the area successfully since then.Gay is the Chairperson of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice in Ireland, where she supports Chartered Physiotherapists all over the country and liases with her counterparts in the Uk and internationally.
