Biography: Deirdre is a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist with both Irish and European Institutes listed below. She is also a qualified trainer, mediator, management consultant and executive coach.Originally obtaining her degrees in Ireland ( M.Soc.Sci.(Psychotherapy); CQSW; H.Dip.Healthcare Management; ) Deirdre has also done further training in the UK (Mediation), Singapore (Gottman Couples therapy 1 and 2; also Emergenetics Associate) Australia (Gottman Couples Therapy Level 3) as well as maintaining her professional training with ongoing courses In Sweden, Singapore, UK, Denmark and Ireland.In addition to her work in Ireland, Deirdre has worked in in London, Bonn, Moscow, Beijing, Copenhagen and more recently Singapore. Deirdre is very experienced in working with cross cultural couples and families as well as organisations where there are staff with multiple ethnic backgrounds.Her work in psychotherapy has been with individuals, families and couples. Apart from being a qualified family therapist, Deirdre has done extensive training in the area of Gottman Couples Therapy and uses Gottman methods in her work.Deirdre also works in the Corporate field,  providing custom designed training courses. Courses have included Intercultural Group Work, Customer Care for Healthcare Organisations, Relationship and Sexuality training, Team Building, Self Reflective Practice, Team Management, Managing Crises in HR, etc.,Deirdre is also a Worldwide Associate with Emergenetics. Emergenetics is a HR tool or can be called a psychometric service  that is used in many organisations from SMEs to Large Multi National Corporations like Microsoft.
