Prof.Dr.A.SHANMUGA SUNDARAM, worked as ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY IN TAMIL NADU GOVT. SERVICE. Most of his Orthopedic career as a Teaching Faculty was at Madras Medical College. He got trained at various Prestigious Institutes in India & Abroad in the field of Advanced Fracture Management, Primary & Revision Joint Replacement of Knee, Hip & Shoulder and Arthroscopy. He is a member of National & International Forum for Joint Replacement Surgeons.

His interest towards Keyhole Surgery is immense and has done more than 500 Arthroscopic ACL reconstructions to his credit. He is member of ISAKOS & IAS. He was a Post Graduate Teacher for a decade & involved in more than 50 Scientific Presentations.

He has Two International & 10 National and State level Scientific paper Presentations which won Prof.Vigneshwaralu Gold Medal in 2002(TNOA) & Prof.Bhakshi Gold Medal in 2012 (IOACON).

He is a Consultant in Chennai Meenakshi Multispecialty Hospital, Apollo Spectra Hospital, Apollo Day Surgery & few other Corporate Hospital in the city of Chennai.
