Biography: Dr. Melissa Sander is committed to helping her patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles at any age. She received her dental degree from theUniversity of Toronto. Following dental school, she was accepted into the prestigious dental residency program at Sunnybrook and Women’s Hospital where she gained experience in the treatment of complex trauma and jaw surgery cases. Dr. Sander’s passion for orthodontics brought her back to the University of Toronto where she completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Orthodontics.She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an active member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontics, Canadian Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the AAO Foundation Vanguard Society. She has held teaching positions at the University of Toronto, Departments of Undergraduate Orthodontics and Preventive Dentistry and has had numerous publications in many peer reviewed journals.
