We are specialized in cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening as well as general NHS and preventive dentistry. We care about all the aspects of your dental needs, giving you the means to keep your teeth and gums protected and your breath fresh. We also offer a large range of rejuvenation treatments to help you to feel and look better.

Biography: GDC 83358 BDS Alison began her career in dentistry at 17 years of age as a trainee dental nurse. She qualified as a dentist from Newcastle Dental School in 2004 and began working in the NHS. In 2008 she acquired Angel Dental Care with her partner Shakiela Hyder. Alison continues to enjoy routine dental care but has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry. She is currently attending a course hosted in London over the next 9 months. In her spare time, Alison enjoys spending time with her two boys and decorating cakes for family and friends.

Biography: GDC 76383 BDS [Hons] BSc PYCH [Hons] Shakiela qualified at the Royal London and St Bartholomew’s in 1999 with honours in Child Dental Health and the Draper’s Award for outstanding academic achievement. During her time in London she also gained a degree in psychology from University College London. She has worked in mixed NHS/Private practices and acquired Angel Dental Care in 2008. She became a foundation trainer with the Northern Deanery in 2006. Enjoys all aspects of dentistry particularly Implant restoration and aesthetics. She is currently completing a year long Smile Design Course in London. Shakiela has a busy home life and enjoys travelling and authentic indian cookery.
