Biography: He is a graduate of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He has completed his specialiaty at Başkent University Hospital and Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. He has been working as a faculty member of Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine at the Department of General Surgery.He has an experience in Digestive System Cancer Surgery, Breast and Thyroid Surgery. Since 2009, he has focused his work on Obesity Surgery. Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery is seen as his greatest professional practice orientation, but he also performs all kinds of laparoscopic operations in the abdominal region including closed gallbladder, closed reflux and closed inguinal hernia. He has been working at Medicalpark Antalya Hospital General Surgery Clinic since 2011.He received the Turkish Board of Surgery Certificate in 2001 and then he was recertificated in 2016. He has 14 articles published in scientific journals -most of them as the first author- and 32 papers presented in medical congresses. His scientific work has received 53 citations in international publications included in SCI and SCI-EXP, H Index:5. The number of vocational courses he has participated in Turkey and abroad is 21 and the number of certified scientific activities is 44.He has been performing all kinds of laparoscopic operations in the abdominal region featuring: Closed Gall Bladder Surgery, Closed Hernia Surgery, Reflux operation (Fundoplication), Laparoscopic Large Intestinal Surgery and Retroperitoneal Lymphatic Dissections, Closed Appendicitis, Adrenal Gland, Liver Cyst, Spleen Removal Surgery and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) interventions.

She continued her postgraduate education at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Istanbul UniversityFlorence Nightingale.She started her career as a nurse at Kadıköy Şifa Hospital-Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic and continued as a responsible nurse at the Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic between 2007-2015.She workedas a nurse at oncology depertmant of Antalya Medicalpark Hospital between 2015-2016. As following of her own obesity surgery performed by Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Güler, she also joined the professional team of Dr.Güler and is currently working as the Clinical Coordinator Nurse.
