Dr. V. Thiagarajan, an anesthetist and family physician and his wife Dr. Vasundra Thiagarajan, Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Sonologist and laparoscopic Surgeon launched BM Hospital in 1982. Both had been to Germany for special training in Laparoscopy and had been to Singapore for infertility training.

Biography: Dr Vasundra Thiagarajan, a senior and popular Gynaecologist is also a Sonologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon and lnfertility Specialist, had been to Germany for specialized training in Laparoscopy and to Singapore for training in lnfertility.She has presented papers in international Obstetrics and Gynaecology Conferences/Seminars held in Malaysia and Japan.She has attended National Conferences of Obstetrics and Gynaecology without a break from 1980, which exhibits her unquenched thirst for knowledge in these two areas of specialization.Dr Vasundra Thiagarajan is a member of the ESHRE - European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology and is attending conferences held in various parts of Europe every year.She was given the 'Best Doctor Award' by the Tamilnadu State IMA and IMA Chennai NAAM branch.She was felicitated and was conferred 'Life Time Achievement Award' by the Rotary club in recognition of her service to humanity in the field of medicine.Recently she was awarded Fellowship Certificate in the field of Reproductive Medicine by the Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.She is the Director of B.M.Hospital's New Life Fertility and IVF Centres where she conducts the college.
