About Beauty Within Liana
Helping customers look good and feel invigorated is the aim of the highly trained and experienced team of therapists at this salon located at Bearsden in Glasgow. The team creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with large beds, thermal blankets and peaceful music where customers can escape reality for a while and feel pampered during visits. Services include skin enhancing facials including the well known Darphin facials, relaxing massages including aromatherapy massage and Swedish massages, manicures and pedicures, eye treatments, hair removal by waxing, IPL hair reduction, tanning, makeup services and the administration of anti aging facial injectables.

Biography: Liana, Director of Beauty Within Liana, started her career in Beauty in 1992. Liana continues to treat clients in her salon and works very closely with all her team to ensure that the salon’s high standards are maintained throughout. With Liana’s passion and experience of the Beauty industry, she continually researches new products and treatments to ensure that the salon is always at the forefont of all the latest developments. She has gained her teaching qualification and uses that experience to train her team, develop courses and teach in many areas of Beauty Therapy. Liana’s has an extensive knowledge of skin health and throughly enjoys the variety of the facial care that the salon offers. Liana is a keen runner, enjoys cooking and entertaining and loves spending time with her family especially her children Mia, 11 and Luca,1.
Shirley Cowie

Biography: Shirley has worked in Beauty Within Liana since the salon opened in Milngavie Road, 7 years ago. She was promoted to salon supervisor in 2008 and in 2009 moved on to her current role of salon manager. Shirley works full time and is in the Salon Tuesday – Saturday including a Thursday late night opening to 8.00pm. Shirley is well known by all our clients as “the lovely, happy and chatty girl”. She loves nothing better than to catch up with her clients and they enjoy getting all her chat. She has a wonderful knowledge of all the beauty products and advises her clients exactly what they require to improve their skin. Shirley enjoys the variety of all treatments. She especially loves carrying out facials for her clients and totally relaxing them. Her other expertise is using Bare Escentual make-up on `Brides to Be`and making them look wonderful on their very special day. She lives with her boyfriend Joe and dog Sophie, who she spends hours walking. Callanetics and walking are her main interests and of course her boyfriend, Joe.
Esther Orr

Biography: Esther joined the salon in March 2009 following her training in HND Beauty Therapy in Langside College. She has gone through our graduate training programme and continues to develop her skills within the salon. Esther is one of only a handful of therapists in Scotland who are trained in the incredible Darphin Divine 8 Flower Nectar Facial. Esther’s fabulous facial techniques and client care was instrumental to her success of her achievement of Darphin’s Therapist of The Year Award in 2012. Esther also specialises in special occasion make-up, whether it be a wedding or a special night out. Her singing voice always keeps us entertained at the end of an evening. Esther works full time in the salon.
