About Birmingham & Black Country Dermatology
The Birmingham & Black Country Skin Clinic is led by Dr Aaron Wernham, a leading Consultant Dermatologist and Skin Surgeon in the West Midlands. Dr Wernham aims to provide compassionate and considerate approach to patient care and has a passion for helping patients with any skin, hair or nail problem. He currently sees patients at the Sutton Coldfield Spire Little Aston Hospital.
Dr Wernham specialises in the management of skin, hair and nail disorders, including skin rashes, hair loss, skin ageing and skin cancer. His approach is open-minded and he enjoys working closely with patients in a relaxed environment to provide tailored, personalised care.

Biography: Dr Wernham qualified from the University of Birmingham Medical School with a first class Honours degree and has won multiple national awards in Dermatology from the British Association of Dermatology as well as the West Midlands Trainee of the Year Prize for outstanding practice. He was selected for a prestigious Post-CCT fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Advanced cutaneous reconstruction where perfected the art of delivering high quality surgical outcomes. Alongside clinical work, he has been awarded the prestigious Neil Cox prize from the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network and has been selected to join the UK Trials Generation and Prioritisation Panel (TGPP). He also holds the post of Associate Editor for one of the leading UK Dermatology journals, has co-founded the Skin Cancer Research Collaborative and is a nationally elected member of the Executive Committee for the British Society for Dermatological Surgery. Dr Wernham specialises in the management of skin, hair and nail disorders, including skin rashes, hair loss, skin ageing and skin cancer.
