She then made the move down to London to undertake a year of further training working specifically with anxious patients and those with dental phobias. With a kind and compassionate nature Alexandra’s friendly approach allows patients to feel relaxed and at ease. Her dedication to dentistry and creating a positive dental experience for her patients has been awarded with Heart Your Smile champion award. She is an active member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), the International Academy of Aesthetic Facial Academics (IAAFA) and the British Dental Association (BDA). In her spare time she much enjoys charity work and is an ambassador for the Heart Your Smile campaign in the UK and the Dental Community Fellowship in the USA.

Biography: Periodontal Specialist. GDC Number. 110015 She qualified as a Dentist in 2005 and gained her periodontal specialist qualification in Sheffield (UK) in 2012. She is proficient in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment including bone regeneration and treatment of gum related problems such as recession and gummy smile. Following her periodontology training she embarked on restorative training at Sheffield University covering aspects of implant dentistry and treatment of patient with tooth wear and occlusal problems. Her 9 years plus experience of dental practice and above training has contributed to her well rounded skills for a holistic patient centred approach to treatment. Her approach to periodontal therapy is centred on creating an understanding of the importance of good periodontal health. By achieving this, and subsequent patient motivation, a non-surgical solution can often be found, however where necessary she uses surgical periodontal therapy to attain optimal results.
