Biography: An IVF consultant at Bourn Hall Clinic, Kochi, Kerala. She obtained her MBBS, DGO, DNB and MRCOG qualifications from London and subsequently specialized in infertility practice, including intrauterine insemination. Since 2008, she has worked as an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) specialist. Dr. Meera’s role also includes advising and counselling patients on IVF and Intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), determining protocols, monitoring stimulation cycles, undertaking oocyte aspiration and embryo transfer. She is trained in the sperm-retrieval procedures of PESA and TESA. Prior to working at Bourn Hall Clinic, Kochi, Dr Meera was Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Government Hospital, Punalur, Kerala and the Women & Children Hospital, Trivandrum. She was also Consultant in charge of Infertility Unit, Victoria Hospital for Women & Children, Kollam, Kerala. She was a lecturer at the Government Medical College, Kottayam, and undertook a clinical attachment at Whittington Hospital, London.
