Biography: Mr Khera went to medical school at Liverpool University; he taught physiology and was awarded an intercalated BSc (Hons) Physiology in 1995 researching molecular pain producing substances. He qualified with an MBChB in 1998.

Biography: Mr Khaled Hamdan graduated from Southampton Medical School in 1996 and received his higher surgical training in various hospitals in Wessex. Prior to his consultant appointment he undertook two advanced surgical fellowships; the first was awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in bariatric surgery and minimally invasive (keyhole) surgical techniques and the second was at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
