Biography: Dr Ian Ollerhead joined the practice as Partner and co-owner in 2013. He grew up in Edinburgh and qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2005. Ian has considerable experience in private dentistry and his particular areas of clinical expertise include comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and CEREC digital technology.He holds a clinical teaching position at the University of Glasgow Dental Hospital and also tutors newly qualified dentists. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons through examination and has also recently completed a four year postgraduate Masters Degree in restorative dentistry at the University of Leeds. He is one of very few dentists in the country to hold such a qualification and his level of training is of great benefit to patients of the practice.He is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the British Society of Restorative Dentistry, the British Society of Occlusal Studies and the Royal Odontochirurgical Society of Scotland.
