Biography: Dr. Suparna Bhattacharya is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics and has been involved in obstetric practice and assisting in laparoscopic surgeries for the past 10 years. For the past 6 years she has been practicing as an Infertility Specialist.As an infertility specialist she has been involved in the management and treatment of infertile patients starting from providing fertility counseling, planning their treatment protocol and being with them through the treatment cycle and finally helping them cope with failure if success is not achieved.Each and every patient is special and helping them have start a family is a goal in itself. At the end of their treatment - disclosing the good news to them is the best aspect and to see the pleasure in their faces is a reward in itself. The most significant aspect is to be with them throughout the procedure, the day-to day happenings, and being honest with them at the end of the day. The most critical area is when you have to be honest with the patients regarding their prognosis. At times the patient is unable or dosen't wish to cope with honest opinion - Counseling them then becomes a challenge.
