Biography: Anna attended school in West London and went to study Dentistry at Guys Hospital where she gained a prize in physiology and qualified in 1984. She went on to work as a house officer in Maxillofacial surgery at Guys and then gradually progressed through her career pathway working in many of the London hospitals and in Gloucester Royal Infirmary. Anna gained her fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1993 and is now working part time as a Consultant in Oral Surgery at Guys. Anna has had a successful private practice since 2001 and has now fulfilled her ambition to have her own clinic where she can provide a high level of care. She specialises in oral surgery and implantology, particularly challenging cases that require bone grafting. Anna lives in west London and has two daughters who are now at university.

Dr Harminder Sehmi

Biography: Harminder is on the General Dental Council Prosthodontic Specialist Register having gained his Membership in Prosthodontics from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and an MClinDent Degree in Prosthodontics from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s, University of London in 2017, marking the completion of his specialist training. Harminder qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’, University of London with a First Class Honours BSc in Biomaterials Science with Oral Biology and Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2003. He has worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the South West of England. This has allowed him to deal with medically compromised patients and improve his skills in surgical dentistry. Harminder is committed to postgraduate education and has a Certificate in Postgraduate Education from the University of Bedfordshire. He is a clinical teacher at Guy’s Hospital in the dental school. His special interests in dentistry include restoration of dental implants, providing complete dentures where the jaw bone is very flat and treating patients with severe tooth wear as well as provision of crowns, bridges and dentures for complex restorative cases referred by practitioners. Where necessary Harminder works in close conjunction with other specialists to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to the patients.

Dr James Wise

Biography: James qualified from Guys Hospital, University of London in 1981 and after a period of hospital service went into practice in 1982. He owned his own practice from 1986 to 2018. He has always stayed very much up to date gaining further postgraduate qualifications over the years culminating in the Fellowship in 2005, the highest award that the Royal College of Surgeons can bestow. He regularly lectures in the UK and abroad, is a tutor for several Postgraduate Dental Deaneries, was a senior Board Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons of England for 9 years, is a Clinical Audit Facilitator helping other practitioners keep their practices up to required standards, is a Fellowship Examiner for those senior practitioners aiming to advance their skills to the highest levels and is a Course Director (Manchester) on the Diploma/MSc in Restorative Dentistry of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a member of the elite British Society in General Dental Surgery (BSGDS). James’s main area of interest is removable prosthodontics and adhesive dentistry.

Biography: John was educated at St. Edwards in Oxford before attending Barts and The London Medical and Dental School, University of London to read Dentistry. He graduated in 2002 with the University of London Gold Medal in Dentistry. Since 2002 he has provided part-time general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and minor oral surgery. In 2008-2009 John undertook international training in dental implantology and an 18-month Harley Street dental implant mentoring programme. Over the last 10 years he has built up a routine and complex dental implant service for dental practitioners between Oxford and London. In addition he receives self-referrals from patients from across the UK, Europe and America.

Jassar has extensive experience in complex root canal treatments, prosthodontics and digital scanning for crowns and bridges. Biography: Divya qualified from Kings College London Dental Institute in July 2012 Since qualifying Divya has undertaken her Vocational Training in general dental practice and her Dental Foundation Training in Oral surgery and Restorative Dentistry. During her year spent working as a Speciality Dentist in Oral Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Divya developed an interest in Periodontology. She entered into specialist training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2016 and successfully finished her training in September 2019. Divya received a distinction and was nominated for the Dean’s List. She was a finalist for the Wilfred Fish Prize in 2019. Divya is now accepting referrals at Chelsea Green Dental Practice. She can provide nonsurgical periodontal therapy, resective and regenerative surgery. Divya excels in minimally invasive procedures which are more comfortable for patients.
