Biography: She born and raised in Saskatchewan. She graduated from Western University’s School of Medicine and Dentistry. . She obtained her Certificate in Periodontology, Master’s of Science in Dentistry, and Lazzara Fellowship in Advanced Implant Therapy at the University of Michigan. She serves as a senior editorial review board member for Implant Dentistry and the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Research She has authored over 25 articles and 5 book chapters on periodontics and implant dentistry. She is a professor at the University of Michigan and has served as the Interim Director of Graduate Periodontics and Director of Undergraduate Periodontics. She has two cats, a fiancé named Matt, and loves traveling, running, and photography. She is committed to lifelong learning. She is recognized internationally as a leader in periodontology and has been invited to lecture abroad. She especially enjoys using her knowledge to serve her patients and is passionate about offering the best care possible.
