About Confidence Cosmetic
, based in the Nuffield Hospital, Glasgow, is a cosmetic surgery group which has been formed by a group of locally practising consultant plastic surgeons, all of whom work (or have previously worked) within the world renowned Canniesburn Plastic Surgery unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Within this group are individual consultants with national and international reputations in their respective fields, most of whom are involved in teaching.

Biography: Andy is a Consultant Hand and Plastic Surgeon at Canniesburn, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and also works within the Scottish Brachial Plexus Service.He trained in Canniesburn, Manchester, London, and Leeds. He received a MD (Honours) for peripheral nerve & tissue engineering research, which was further advanced during a PhD. He is Deputy Editor of JPRAS, Europe’s leading reconstructive and aesthetic surgical journal, and an Honorary Senior Research Associate at Glasgow Universities. Publications include medical and medico- legal book chapters, numerous peer-review articles, national and international presentations. He is a member of, and works for, the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and an interest in all, particularly microsurgery.Andy specializes in the following surgical procedures:Body Contouring, Breast Surgery and Facial Surgery.

Biography: Arup has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in 1994. This unit in Glasgow is one of the most prestigious and internationally renowned Units in the world and has pioneered several plastic surgical techniques that are now widely applied the world over.Arup completed his training in the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit as a Senior Registrar and successfully passed the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination in 1993 and was the first recipient in the United Kingdom of the Ian McGregor gold medal in Plastic Surgery.His areas of subspecialty interest as a Consultant in the NHS include Cleft Lipand Palate Surgery and Breast Reconstruction Surgery. As the most senior practising Surgeon in the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit, his extensive experience in these areas of subspecialisation have been invaluable in acquiring the expertise needed for Facial Aesthetic Surgery, complex and difficult Rhinoplasties and Breast Aesthetic Surgery.Arup specializes in the following cosmetic procedures:Body Contouring, Breast Surgery, Facial Surgery

Biography: Ben is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Canniesburn Unit, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and specialises in aesthetic breast, facial and body contouring surgery. His reconstructive subspecialties are breast reconstruction, microsurgery and.Ben trained in Canniesburn and Leeds. Upon completion of his Plastic Surgerytraining, he undertook a subspecialist fellowship in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at the Professorial Breast Units of the Western and Glasgow Royal Infirmaries. He is one of a small group of UK Plastic Surgeons to have completed an accredited year of subspecialist training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. He was conferred an MPhil for his postgraduate research into minimising scarring in wound healing and breast implant surgery.Ben is actively involved in the training of future Consultant Plastic Surgeons as a faculty instructor of the Canniesburn Prefellowship, Microsurgery and Flap courses.
