Biography: Dr. Halil Ibrahim Tekin, MD., a respected Consultant in Gynaecology/Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine, serves as the Medical Director and CEO of Cyprus Crown Dr.HIT. He is affiliated with the IVF-ET and Gynaecology Endoscopy Centre and holds memberships in leading medical organizations, including ASRM and ESHRE.Dr. H.I.Tekin is renowned for his remarkable success rates and compassionate, patient-centered approach. He leads a dedicated team of experts from the US, UK, Canada, Turkey, and Greece, committed to delivering the highest standard of care.Dr. Tekin's journey began in Nicosia, North Cyprus, attending Tavas Istiklal Primary School and later Galatasaray High School. He pursued his medical education at Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University, specializing in Forensic Medicine. He gained international experience by working in France at Lille University under Prof. Dr. C. Pray in 1985.Between 1987 and 1989, Dr. Tekin served at Denizli Government Hospital's emergency unit and Forensic Medicine branch, earning a First Aid certificate from Ankara Numune Hospital in 1988. His path in Obstetrics and Gynecology started in 1995, and he became a specialist at Zeynep Kamil Hospital. He joined the IVF center at the same hospital in 1997, collaborating with renowned IVF specialists.In 2000, he founded the first IVF center in North Cyprus, Nicosia, followed by a second center at Famagusta Life Hospital, dedicating the next decade to helping couples achieve parenthood.By 2014, Dr. Tekin had fulfilled the dreams of 39,841 families. He actively engages in research, focusing on endometriosis and pronuclear transfer between young and old fertilized oocytes.Dr. Tekin is an active member of key scientific societies, contributing to numerous national and international scientific articles. His fluency in English, French, Turkish, and Russian and commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in fertility medicine have resulted in impressive success rates.Beyond medicine, Dr. Tekin has a rich history in sports, particularly basketball, and aviation, holding pilot licenses.
