Biography: BDS, FFGDP(UK), MGDS RCS (Eng), MGDS RCS (Edin), Dip Implant Dent RCS Eng, Dip Clin Hyp. He qualified from Birmingham University Dental School in 1980. He spent five years as a dentist in the RAF, leaving with the rank of Squadron Leader in 1985. During this time he developed his interest in endodontic (root canal) treatment. He has lectured extensively on dental subjects such as endodontics, implants, cracked teeth and treatment planning in the UK and abroad, as well as publishing articles and contributing chapters to textbooks and manuals.
