Our Dermatologist, Dr Jonathan Smith - M.B.,Ch.B. (with honours) UCT, M.Med. (Derm) (cum laude) U. Stell, has over 30 year's experience in private practice as a dermatologist in Cape Town. He is a part-time consultant to the Dermatology Department at the University of Stellenbosch for over 15 years. Has attended, delivered lectures and chaired sessions at numerous dermatology congresses, both local and abroad. Is a member of the advisory boards of several pharmaceutical companies and is treasurer and member, of the executive committee of the Dermatology Society of South Africa for the past 25 years. 

Dr Jonathan Smith has experience in all aspects of medical dermatology with a special interest in paediatric dermatology, dermatosurgery, pigment disorders, psoriasis, skin cancer, hair loss, eczema, hair loss, Melasma, Melanoma detection, nail fungus, Psoriasis, Rosacea, redness, Skin Cancer, Actinic Keratosis, Vitiligo, warts, Toxin & Dermal Fillers, autoimmune disorders and aesthetic/cosmetic dermatology. He has published extensively in journals of dermatology, including guidelines for the treatment of psoriasis in South Africa as part of a working group.

Dr Andries Van Schalkwyk - MBchB, LMCC, CCFP, has been working in Aesthetics for many years, and is highly qualified in his field, performing Toxin and Filler procedures. He consults at Derma Therapeutics, and works in Canada.
