Biography: Senior Ophthalmic surgeon on suburbs. Head of Ophthalmology Department of B.C. J. General Hospital (Asha Parekh Hospital) and Present Trustee of IMA (West Suburban Branch), Andheri medical Association . Mmember of All India Ophthalmic Association, Bombay Ophthalmic Association, Association of medical consultants and various other organizations. He is past President of our branch and at present he is the trustee. He has done thousands of Eye Surgeries including Cataracts, Glaucoma and Squint etc. Passed M.B.B.S. from Grant Medical College in 1959 , did House job in C J ophthalmic Hospital of J.J. Group Hospital . Went to London in 1961, worked in various hospitals in England, got D.O. in London and came back to India in 1964. Started practice in Andheri in 1964.He got attachment in BCJ Hospital, Ramwadi Eye Hospital, Ramkrishna Mission Hospital, S. K. Patil Hospital (Malad), Lions Clinic (Kandivali ) and Sanjeevani Hospital in Virar. He was pioneer in cataract Surgery and Intra Ocular lens Implant His hobbies include Oil Painting on canvas and Traveling.
