Biography: Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He obtained his Board Certification in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2008. Dr. Brown completed his Bachelor of Sciences in 1999. He was accepted that same year to Medical School at the University of Manitoba and received his Doctor of Medicine in 2003. While attending medical school he obtained a second Bachelor of Sciences degree and had his research published in the preeminent Journal of Anesthesiology. In 2003 he was the successful candidate, out of more than 60 applicants from across Canada, for the residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Manitoba. This program is known across North America as one of the most grueling residencies in Microsurgical Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
