Biography: MBBS(KOLKATA),DLO(KOLKATA) ,MRCS(I),FRCS(EDIN.)Dr. Anay Gupta graduated in medicine(MBBS) from nilratan sirkar medical college, Kolkata in 1993. Subsequently, he underwent extensive training in Plastic Surgery followed by   General Surgery before joining post-graduation (DLO) in ear,nose & throat   surgery in 1996 at Calcutta national medical college. He completed his post graduate training in ENT  in 1998 and left for the UK in end 1999. Before leaving he also underwent training in Cardiothoracic Surgery for a year. He spent  10 years in the UK  undergoing higher training in ENT & head-neck surgery at various hospitals all over the UK including leeds general infirmary, RNTNEH, London and Liverpool royal hospital. During this period he did MRCS(I) in  general surgery in the year 2000. In 2002 he acquired FRCS in ENT & head-neck surgery from the royal college of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK.During this period he developed a special interest in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Snoring Surgery and Gland Surgery. He attended numerous courses for these and also did a short term fellowship in Gland Surgery under world-famous Gland Surgeon, Dr. John Watkinson at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham,UK. He also did a course on cochlear implants in Turkey. In 2009 he returned to Kolkata,india and started private practice in ENT & Neck / Gland Surgery. He is currently a visiting ENT / Gland Surgeon in prestigious   hospitals of Kolkata like Apollo Gleneagles, Bellevue and AMRI Hospitals.
