Biography: Dr. Chetan Satish completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College in 2000. He then went on to complete his M.S(General surgery) from Mysore Medical College. Being interested in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, he went on to pursue his MCh(Plastic surgery) from the prestigious K.E.M hospital ,Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Amresh Baliarsing where he had tremendous exposure to all kinds of facial trauma,hand surgeries,congenital anomalies including clefts and hand anomalies,burns and reconstructive surgery including microsurgery. His quest for learning cosmetic surgery made him work with the top cosmetic surgeons in Mumbai including Dr. Mohan Thomas and Dr. L.Dhami. Dr. Chetan Satish has been in plastic surgery practice since 2005 when he joined K.E.M hospital.He completed his MCh in plastic surgery in July,2008.He has also done his MRCS(Edinburgh) in 2007. He also has DNB both in General surgery and Plastic surgery.After moving back to his hometown Bangalore Dr. Chetan Satish initially  worked as a consultant plastic surgeon at Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and orthopedics and at Baptist hospital. He has since then been a consultant plastic surgeon at Columbiaasia Hospital  since March 2009. He is also a consultant at many other hospitals including Sreenivasa Hospital,Unity Lifeline hospital, Theresa hospital,Sidwin Hospital, Fortis hospital, Tulsi Jain hospital, Chord Road Hospital, Sanjeevani hospital, RMV Hospital, Geeta nursing home, Poornima Nursing home, Chaitanya nursing home,Lakshmi nursing home to name a few.He has a keen interest in cosmetic surgery which includes hair transplantation, blepharoplasty, facelift, rhinoplasty(nose job),dimple creation,breast augmentation,breast lift,breast reduction,gynecomastia(male breast),liposuction,tummy tuck and abdominoplasty,body contouring surgeries after massive weight loss, chin augmentation,fat grafting,hymenoplasty,vaginoplasty, lip reduction,[Treatment name removed] and fillers, tattoo removal and scar revisions.He has numerous publications to his credit both in national and international journals including Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery-JPRAS(formerly British Journal of plastic surgery, American Journal of cosmetic surgery,European Journal of plastic surgery, Indian journal of Plastic surgery, Indian Journal of Cardio-thoracic surgery and Indian journal of surgery. He has also given Television interviews on TV9 AND Suvarna news  on cosmetic surgery.
