Biography: Christa qualified as a dentist from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) in 1999. Christa is registered as a dentist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) (reg no: DP 71536) as well as the General Dental Council (GDC) in the UK (reg no: 76645). Christa owned and managed a dynamic dental practice in the heart of Cape Town before her husband’s business commitments took her to the UK at the end of 2000. She practiced dentistry in various settings in the UK until she bought her own practice in Hertfordshire in 2008 that she still owns today and manages remotely. While in the UK, Christa attended numerous courses to expand her skill set and knowledge, including a year course in advanced restorative dentistry at the highly rated Tipton Training Clinic in Manchester, run by Prof. Paul Tipton. Christa and her family returned to South Africa in 2013, settling in Stellenbosch. After spending time settling back into life in South Africa, her hands started itching again and she started working in various practices to familarise herself with the South African dental market. The perfect location became available at the Valerida Building (above Paul Roos Spar) in Stellenbosch in 2016 and it was too good an opportunity to pass by for someone who has always enjoyed a challenge. Christa enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has many years of experience in all fields, including general dentistry, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. She has in the past year enjoyed attending two top international conferences held in Cape Town and is excited to be able to offer some of the latest technologies from these events at hew new practice. With 17 years of experience in top private dental clinics, Christa looks forward to welcoming you to her new ultra modern dental practice at the most convenient location in Stellenbosch.
