Biography: He has been practicing dermatology for 15 years in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta. He graduated from the University of Calgary Medical School in 1988 and trained in dermatology and dermatopathology at the University of Chicago. He is an active member of the medical staff at a number of area hospitals including Foothills Medical Centre, Peter Lougheed Hospital, Rockyview General Hospital, and the Alberta Children’s Hospital. He is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Calgary and is active in teaching medical students and residents in addition to his clinical work. In 2010, he opened Northwest Dermatology and Laser Centre to provide medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care for patients of all ages. Northwest Dermatology and Laser Centre also participates in clinical research studies for dermatological conditions. Dr. Woolner and his staff are pleased to provide new and innovative treatments to their patients. He and his wife, Elisabeth, who is a family physician, are kept active with their two children and fulfilling careers in medicine.

Biography: She have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Woolner for the past 8 years as his receptionist, first at the Market Mall office and then moved with him in July 2010 to our new location. She have 2 adult children. In the summer we spend our weekends in the country at our farm.

Biography: In 2003, her family (husband, son, daughter, and myself) were transferred to Calgary from Houston, Texas. After obtaining permanent resident status, I decided to look for a part-time job and in 2006, I was fortunate enough to be hired by Dermatology Associates. She now work for Dr. Woolner at our newly formed practice, Northwest Dermatology, and enjoy job sharing with Helen as receptionist. It’s great to be part of such a fantastic work family!
