Biography: Dr. Florence Li is an American dentist with over 20 years of experience practicing comprehensive general dentistry all over the world. In March 2008 she opened her new clinic in Singapore located in Camden Medical Centre. Dr. Li offers her patients the highest quality of care in her new state-of-the-art facility. Her clinic provides a soothing, comfortable environment surrounded by lovely views.Dr. Li practices all aspects of preventive dentistry, including the most thorough cleaning youll ever receive! She is extremely experienced in cosmetic dentistry including placing tooth coloured restorations, doing crown and bridge, placing veneers, and has been whitening teeth for over 20 years. In addition, Dr. Li is vastly experienced in pediatric dentistry, and she sees children of all ages on a daily basis. She also does root canal treatments, oral surgery, treats TMJ disorders, makes sport mouthguards for children and adults, and restores implants and more.As a 20 year member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Dr. Li is extremely commited to improving public oral health and supporting organized dentistry. She attends at least one dental conference held in the U.S.A. every year to keep her skills and knowledge current, while upholding her dedication to her patients and lifelong commitment to continuing dental education. In addition, she is a member of the Singapore Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in the U.S.A., and she obtained her fellowship in the AGD in July, 2010, joining a prestigious group committed to lifelong learning.Dr. Li was born in Toledo, Ohio, then moved with her family to the Chicago (Illinois) suburb of Naperville when she was a young teenager. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biology from The University of Illinois in 1986 and went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The University of Michigan in 1990. Dr. Li spent 3 years as a dentist (with the rank of Captain) in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Turkey and Panama. After her stint as a military dentist, Dr. Li returned to the U.S. and worked in Michigan for 3 years before succumbing once again to the travel bug. She obtained a position in Vietnam working for International SOS as a dental manager in Ho Chi Minh City in January 1997. During her 7 ½ years with SOS, she also worked in their Hanoi and Phnom Penh offices. Prior to opening her own clinic, Dr. Li worked for 2 dental offices in Singapore.
