Educational Qualifications:

B.D.S.(Bachelor in Dental Surgery) in May 1979. Graduated from Government Dental College and Hospital, Bombay. In private practice since November 1981 for 26 years. Also completed a PG Certificate course in Aesthetic Dentistry from the Baylor College, Dallas, Texas and is one of the few U.S. qualified Cosmetic Dentists in the country. I have attended innumerable certificate courses and Product Orientation courses in Germany, Switzerland and USA. Pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate course at New York University and Tufts University, Boston. Have attended courses in Implantology in USA. 

Participation in conferences:

Attended innumerable conferences in India and abroad in USA, Europe, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and Turkey. Given lectures on Cosmetic Dentistry in India and abroad. An authority on clinical dental photography and have lectured on the subject. A topic not taught in dental colleges in India. 

Part of the core group and board of Directors of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic dentistry, a group dedicated to learning the Art, Science and latest developments in Cosmetic Dentistry by repeated annual/biannual visits abroad and disseminating this information in an organised manner, including inviting foreign speakers to lecture to Indian Dentists on Cosmetic Dentistry and sharing our knowledge by lecturing to them also, as this facility is not available in Dental College in India.

Patient list includes top theatre, film, glamour, Personalities, Singers, Musicians, Sportsmen and Industrialists as well as average middle class citizens from all walks of life who want to beautify their smile.

Positions held: Elected 1st Vice President IDA (Indian Dental Association, Mumbai) 1998-1999. Treasurer IDA, Mumbai 99 - 2001.

Organising Secretary of 42nd Maharashtra State Dental Conference in Mumbai 2002 which had record attendance of over 2400 delegates.

Organising secretary for IAACD Abroad 2003, a conference arranged in Phuket Thailand, with delegate attendance of 150 delegates.

Recognition & Awards:

Awarded the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini award on 20th November in 1997 as a pioneer of Cosmetic Dentistry in India.

Appointed as Country Representative to the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (AAAD) for third consecutive term of two years each in 2007.
