Biography: He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Montreal in 1991. He opened his private dental clinic in 1992 and undertook a career in community dental health at the Montreal Department of Public Health (Direction de la Santé Publique de Montréal-Centre), an agency attached to the Ministry of Health. He had a special interest in endodontics, the branch of dentistry specialized in studying and treating the dental pulp, the inside of a tooth’s root canal. He has been an early adopter of the Protaper Universal Endodontic Files System when they were launch in 2000 and has cumulated 13 years of experience in using this system.
