Biography: Dr Pradnya Apté BDS, also known as ‘The Lip Dentist’, is a Harley Street trained aesthetic practitioner with extensive experience in dentistry and cosmetic procedures. She opened her first clinic, Skin Southwest, in Exeter in 2015 and in 2019 Dr Pradnya opened her London clinic at 52 Harley Street where she offers facial rejuvenation procedures such as skin tightening, Silhouette Soft® threads, Ellanse® collagen stimulating fillers, as well as results-driven award-winning facials and skincare. Dr Pradnya is a GDC registered Dentist who has been practising Facial Aesthetics for the last 16 years, she developed this passion alongside world-class mentors on London’s Harley Street, as well as the renowned Dr Hennessey Academy and Cadogan Clinic. A background in dentistry has been crucial to Pradnya’s development as a leading aesthetics practitioner, her knowledge of facial anatomy allows her to develop in-depth, bespoke treatment plans that deliver stunning natural results. It is also a defining feature of her gentle approach to nervous and needle-phobic clients. Dr Pradnya keeps her dental and aesthetic knowledge and skills up to the minute by attending international industry conferences and constantly training in new products and procedures. She is also a contributing author to the Aesthetic Medicine and Aesthetic Dentistry journals and also has her own column in Sunday Woman magazine. Pradnya’s approach to both dentistry and aesthetics treatments are evidence-led, featuring treatments whose efficacy is scientifically proven to the highest standards in academia and practice.
