Biography: Your first contact with Dr Allbrook’s surgery will be with Karen, our administrative and front desk manager. She will take all your details, arrange consultation times and give you practical advice on payment schedules. She will also arrange bed times, book hospital rooms and arrange for your aftercare. Karen has been with the practice for seventeen years and knows all the ropes of a complex practice and will help you in any way she can.

Biography: She is our Practice Nurse and is highly experienced in plastic surgery nursing and a thorough patient educator. She has worked with Bruce and Karen for ten years. She has an excellent, reassuring way of communicating with her patients and will make each patient as comfortable as she is able. She combines with Dr Allbrook in the post-operative period, to answers questions and give post-operative care and advice. She also prepares patients for their operations through a comprehensive patient education process. She keeps herself up to date with the latest in wound care management to ensure Dr Allbrook’s patients are given the highest quality treatment over the post-operative period. This pre and post-operative care for up to six weeks is included in the cost of the consultation and subsequent operation.
