Biography: Dr. Baker completed his medical training in 1986 and practiced for five years as a general practitioner to remote communities in Northern Manitoba, with two years of focused practice in the area of emergency medicine and intensive care in Winnipeg.Through this work, Dr. Baker developed a fascination with Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery. He completed his Ophthalmology residency training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1999, which is one of the top ranked surgical programs.
