Biography: He is a graduate of Calcutta Medical College where he also completed his MD. He undertook his specialist training for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London, where he gained his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), and qualified as a Specialist (CCT). He worked at university hospitals in London, where he acquired skills in minimal-access surgery and IVF.
