Biography: As a dental hygienist Emma is focused on preventing disease and helping patients with their oral condition, she is well known for helping patients who find dentistry difficult. Qualifying in 1993 as a dental nurse, Emma spent her first 10 years in general practice before moving on to special care dentistry or community dentistry as it was known then, at Weston Hospital. Wanting to be more patient focused, Emma applied for the hygiene diploma at the Bristol Dental Hospital which she completed in 2016.
