Biography: She qualified in 1989 from the Leeds College of Physiotherapy as a Chartered Physiotherapist and went on to work for many years in the National Health Service for hospitals and clinics throughout Edinburgh. Her main areas of work and special interest during this time were Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including running ante-natal classes, and Out-Patient clinics where she saw many women both pre and post-natally.
