Biography: Dr. G Buvaneswari, is an alumnus of Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, one of the best known medical intuitions in India. She has over 15 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and over 10 years of expertise in treating infertile couples. She has to her credit regarded as the youngest Obstetrician & Gynecologist in the Chennai city who specializes in fertility treatment and handling high risk pregnancies.She is a visiting consultant at many of the leading hospitals in Chennai. She has carried out many cycles of IUI / IVF / GIFT / ICSI in the past decade and has a success rate of over 70%, which is well above the normal industry standards. Her extensive range of clientele, include patients both from India and as well as abroad which includes patients from countries like Singapore, Sri Lanka, Russia, Dubai, USA, Canada, UK, Nigeria, etc. She holds to her credit of having treated successfully the first Russian couple to have their test tube baby in Chennai and is also one of the named consultants for patients from Russian Embassy, Chennai. Her specialization includes handling highly complex obstetrics and gynecology cases.In her previous assignments she had been part of the infertility teams in CMC Hospital, Vellore, CSI Rainy Hospital, Chennai, Apollo Hospital, Chennai and Mothers Love International Fertility Centre & Research Foundation, Chennai. Dr. G Buvaneswari has undergone training and has acquired the requisite skill and expertise from some of the prestigious medical centres across the globe, which include institutes located at Cambridge, UK; Kiel, Germany and Singapore apart from CMC, Vellore, India.She is highly articulate, confident and effective in patient management. Her interest in research has given her the opportunity to be part of some of the best research projects undertaken at CMC Hospital, Vellore. She has, to her credit an appreciable number of papers presented at various Obstetrics and Gynecology forums and conferences. She is an active member of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecology Society (FOGSI) and Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR).
