Biography: Dr. Douglas Grace, B.Sc., M.D., F.R.C.S., is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon serving Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, and the surrounding Ontario areas. Dr. Grace believes that plastic surgery is most successful when it enhances a person’s natural beauty. He founded his plastic surgery practice on the pillars of excellent patient care, the highest surgical standards, a professional environment and personal, compassionate staff. He is personally invested in his patients’ safety, comfort, and satisfaction at all times.In addition to surgical procedures, Dr. Grace also performs laser and non-laser skin rejuvenation procedures. He believes in staying ahead of the curve of plastic surgery technology and continually strives to offer leading-edge procedural options to his patients.Dr. Grace belongs to the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons; he is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.Professional ExperienceDr. Grace is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Surgery McMaster University.Dr. Grace regularly attends meetings held by Canadian and International cosmetic and reconstructive surgery associations. Biography: Surgical and Aesthetic NurseAs a Registered Nurse, she has had the opportunity of working with diverse populations both in the hospital and in the community. It was in 2016 that Michelle decided to pursue her passion for aesthetic medicine and joined the GraceMed team under Dr. Grace.Michelle was given the unique opportunity to be directly mentored by Dr. Grace under whom she learned the reconstructive and plastic surgical field of medicine. She is passionate about guiding and supporting her surgical patients from the time on their initial consultation and through their recovery.Learning the art of facial sculpting directly under a renowned plastic surgeon has given her a superior knowledge of facial aesthetics and anatomy. She believes it is this unique opportunity to learn her art directly under a plastic surgeon that has truly set her apart from her peers.It was also under her mentorship with Dr.Grace that she was trained in non-surgical aesthetic medicine.EducationMichelle Eaves RN BScN received her Nursing Degree in 2012 from the Queen’s University.SpecialityIt was also under her mentorship with Dr.Grace that she was trained in non-surgical aesthetic medicine. Michelle is highly skilled and completed many training courses in the injections of facial fillers, wrinkle-relaxing injections, Sclerotherapy, Belkyra, and chemical peels. Michelle’s main focus in facial aesthetics is “graceful aging” by creating extremely natural and rejuvenated results at any given age.
