About Green Room Dentistry
We think visiting the dentist should be fun. Green Room Dentistry was opened by Richard and Sally Hudson in November 1999. It was a busy year for them having just got married and moving to Cornwall.
The idea was to do dentistry in a way that made people want to come and see us, feel at home in our practice and still be treated with professionalism.
Do you need a fresh start with a new dentist who listens to you and really cares. The whole team at Green Room Dentistry are focused on giving you a beautiful, healthy smile and making your visits to us enjoyable.

Biography: With a wealth of experience in implantology aligned with particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, Richard has earned the reputation as one of Cornwall’s leading cosmetic dentists.As an undergraduate he won the Claudius Ash Prize for Operative Techniques and the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award.Richard started placing dental implants in 2003 and was on the committee of the Association of Dental Implantology UK representing the South West region from 2007-2008.He accepts referrals for dental implants from other dentist practices, holds regular courses on implantology and is also registered with the Association of Dental Implantology UK and Straumann Group as a mentor.Dentistry aside, Richard is an avid surfer, cyclist and gained a black belt in Tai Kwon Do. If it’s a real challenge with an element of speed, thrills or endurance then he’s probably done it! Richard’s current passion is Ironman distance triathlon.

Biography: Sally has a gift for helping those who are nervous about dental treatment. She is an excellent communicator, carefully listening and tailoring advice, with young and old alike.With two decades of experience providing mercury free treatment, and more recently digital tooth scanning, Sally provides safe, contemporary dentistry. This means beautiful tooth restorations and highly accurate and comfortable mouth scanning instead of ‘tooth moulds’.As the co-founder of the Green Room she is the driving force behind the business side of the practice ensuring efficiency and continued success.Any spare time she gets she can be found playing tennis, running and more recently satisfying her mild obsession with golf.
