About Guildhall Dental
The Guildhall Dental Practice has been providing quality healthcare in Bury St Edmunds for over 50 years. Our Patients have trusted us to look after their oral and dental health for generations, taking care of them and their families throughout their lives.
We offer modern, professional and reliable dental health care. As you would expect from the Guildhall Dental Practice, we have a friendly, highly trained team of dentists, hygienists and nurses whose first concern is to help you prevent dental disease thereby minimising the amount of dental treatment you need.
Our reception staff are committed to your healthcare, and any of our staff will be happy to help with any concern or enquiry you may have. We aim to make your visits here as relaxed as possible. If you are anxious about visits to the dentist we even offer a "buddy" or guardian who will meet you at the front door, and help and support you throughout your appointment.

Dr Paul Carr

Biography: Dr Paul Carr qualified from University College London in 1986. After qualifying Dr Carr worked in Bushy in Hertfordshire for 8 months. He then moved to Sutton in Surrey, where he worked for three years. During this period he worked as a part time Honorary Clinical Lecturer at University College Dental Hospital in London. In 1990 Dr Carr moved to his own practice in central Cambridge. Where he was secretary of the Cambridge and District section of the British Dental Association.
Dr Bryan Colborn

Biography: Mr Colborn graduated from the Royal Dental Hospital, University of London in 1984, and then spent 18 months in residential jobs before going into general practice in London and Bury St Edmunds. During his 20 years in General Dental Practice, he has developed an interest in aesthetic dentistry, including veneers, ceramic crowns and “smile design” in response to his patients’ wishes.Qualifications: BDS LDS RCS (Eng)

Biography: Mr John Hare has extensive experience in Oral Surgery, Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry. He has been placing and restoring dental implants in Bury St Edmunds since 1994, and has undertaken implant training at universities in the UK and in Germany and Austria. He is an accredited specialist oral surgeon, is a Fellow in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a member of British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the Association of DentalImplantology (UK), and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.Qualifications: BSc (Hons), BDS, MGDS, DipImpl Dent RCS, FDSRCS
