This centre is one of the first in the country to start the Modified Lothrop Procedure (Draf 3), which is the answer to repeated allergic nasal polyposis,& fungal sinusitis.
Sinus surgeries including advanced procedures like CSF leak repair, Endoscopic DCR, & Endoscopic skull base surgeries are undertaken here.
The chief consultant with 25 years of experience, is a regular invited surgeon in various conferences and workshops to demonstrate advanced endoscopic sinus techniques, and cosmetic nasal surgeries (Rhinoplasty).

He started his career in 1991 as Assistant Professor, & Head of ENT Unit III, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India, Dr. George has years of intricate surgical experience and rich international exposure. He took his under graduation from Kerala University & post graduation from Mysore University.Besides broad ENT surgical work, Dr. George Varghese, is involved largely in performing advanced Endoscopic Surgery for sinus and nasal disorders & Cosmetic Nasal Surgery.In addition to other surgeries like CSF leak repair, Endoscopic DCR, Endoscopic skull base surgeries, ear surgeries like Mastoido tympanoplasty and Stapedectomy and micro laryngeal surgeries are also his routine.Dr. George Varghese, mastering laser surgery techniques at the Free University Hospital in Amsterdam, in July 1998, has taken part in the regular operation program in Marien Hospital, Stuttgart, Germany, under Priv. -Doz. Dr. W. Gubisch concentrating at length on Facial plastic surgery, particularly nasal cosmetic surgery.
