About Health Hub

HealthHub London offers you a full private medical practice for illness and minor injury, as well as consultation on some of those more delicate or worrying health issues that require psychological intervention.  

It's a private clinic designed 

specifically

 for you and your health needs. We also provide Chiropody (Podiatry), Nutrition Advice and have specialists in alternative medicines, such as massage therapy. We believe HealthHub London is a viable alternative to the traditional approach to the community health centre.

Biography: Mike Dilkes is a world-renowned Consultant ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) surgeon at St Bartholomew's and Whipps Cross Hospitals. He also specialises in head and neck tumour surgery and pioneers the use of lasers for both medical and cosmetic procedures.He set up HealthHub London to offer a full private medical practice for illness and minor injuries as well as some of those more worrying or delicate health issues that may require psychological intervention.

Dr Tamara Russell

Biography: Dr. Tamara Russell is a clinical psychologist, martial artist and mindfulness trainer.  She works as an academic and clinician, exploring the use of mindfulness to help individuals respond more skilfully to challenging emotional material. She is the creator of the Body In Mind Training Framework, a body-based mindfulness training which allows individuals to become more in tune with bodily reactions and responses, increasing awareness and promoting mental and physical well-being. She has delivered Body In Mind Training across a number of NHS Trusts as well as to health care workers internationally. Her academic work focuses on the evaluation of adaptations of mindfulness for different clinical groups including eating disorders and bipolar illness and healthcare staff.  Tamara is involved in international collaborations looking at how mindfulness training changes the structure and function of the brain.  London an organization dedicated to the wider dissemination of mindfulness training alongside support and training for teachers of mindfulness from all backgrounds and disciplines. Mindfulness therapy and one to one work.  In this work, mindfulness is used to get to the heart of the matter. Working with this technique, it is possible to quickly see the habits of mind that are keeping you stuck and preventing you from thriving. Usually the sessions are 1 hour duration and between 6-8 sessions of training are recommended.  The first few appointments are used to do a thorough assessment of your needs which will then drive the thinking about the approach and techniques that will work best for you.

Biography: George Elias has been practising in both the NHS and privately since 1993. He has a Bachelor of science degree in Podiatry and is a member of the chiropodist society and registered with the health professionals council (HPC). The services he provides include: Nail cutting and related problems, Corns and callus removal and treating verrucas. He can also diagnose and give advice on foot related problems, i.e. fungal infections (athletes foot). He can also provide nail surgery under local anaesthetic.

She has a B.A. in Comparative Religion and Social Anthropology, an M.A. in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights and an M.A. in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
