Mrs Joanna Laurence

Biography: Since qualifying Joanna has worked for Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust where she became a senior physiotherapist specialising in neuromusculoskeletal outpatients, treating a range of acute and chronic conditions. Joanna then moved into the private sector working for St. Jude’s Physiotherapy Clinic in Bedsfordshire, where she continued to develop her skills and knowledge, including completing a course in western acupuncture. Joanna is a certified APPI Pilates Instructor and has the experience of teaching Pilates on a 1:1 level and class setting to clients in the community. Joanna has a special interest in assessing and treating abnormal movement patterns through the Pilates approach, bridging the gap between physiotherapy and Pilates. Joanna also has the experience of treating clients in the hydrotherapy setting working in the NHS and private sector.
