About Injury Active Clinic - St Albans
Injury Active clinic provide leading injury assessments, sports massage, rehabilitation and manual therapy. We are a front running sports injury clinic providing the latest assessment and treatment services to help those suffering from pain and dysfunction as a result of a sports, occupation or lifestyle injury.
Treatments for acute trauma, tendinopathies, muscle strains, ligament sprains and joint dysfunction are carried out at the Injury Active Clinic using a multi-directional, evidence based approach.
Many of our clients transition through a fully comprehensive strength and conditioning programme at our local facilities in order to further develop strength, agility and skills to maximise performance and reduce the chances of injury re-occurrence.
We help a wide variety of people from different backgrounds including sports professionals, amateurs and office workers.

Mr Rob Lang

Biography: Rob studied his Sports therapy degree at UCLAN where he graduated with a first class honours. He then took the opportunity into further education and studied a Sports Medicine Masters at Exeter University. During this time Rob managed to gain valuable experience by working closely with Preston North End First Team and Wharf dale Rugby Club in Yorkshire where he provided treatment and rehabilitation sessions for the first and second teams.Shortly after graduating from Exeter Rob landed a job in Cambridgeshire at a Sports Injury Clinic. He spent the next 3 and a half years here furthering his knowledge and skills in the working environment, becoming a senior therapist.Robs hobbies consist of running and cycling (however this tends to be very weather dependant!), CrossFit and travelling as often as possible! Since starting CrossFit 3 years ago Rob has competed at the Rainhill trials in Manchester and has become a qualified Level 1 CrossFit Trainer and a CrossFit Mobility Trainer. He has spent the last year coaching part time at CrossFit A14 where he was also the gyms first choice therapist.Going forwards Rob is keen on furthering his knowledge in body mechanics in regards to injury and performance.

Dr Craig Hardingham

Biography: Graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008, Craig has a passion for CrossFit and football. He’s worked with Watford FC; university football teams and his pivotal role as Assistant Sports Therapist and Touchline Therapist with Histon FC (2007-2009) helped them reach the play-off semi-finals of the Blue Square Premier League. With his reputation attracting a number of elite athletes to his clinic, Craig worked intensively with World Junior Power-lifting Champion James Copping, leading up to his 2009 title and combined services and also with British international Judo competitor, Lee Carder.

Biography: Jessica is a graduate Sports Therapist who is excited to be working at Injury Active and is ready for the new challenge of learning about CrossFit. Jessica’s sporting interests and background include gymnastics and dancing, both at competition level, and playing Hockey for Royston Ladies.
