About International Specialist Eye Centre

Biography: MBBS (S’pore), MMed (Ophth) (S’pore), FRCS (Edin), AM (Mal)Dr. Wong was both an ASEAN Scholar and Kuok Foundation scholar in his undergraduate years at the National University of Singapore. After receiving ophthalmic training from the National University of Singapore and Singapore National Eye Centre, he went on to pursue clinical fellowships in VitreoRetinal (VR) Disease at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, University of Melbourne in 1998; and at Beetham Eye Institute of Joslin Diabetes Centre, Boston the following year. As a fellow at the Department of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, he received advanced training at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre and Brigham and Womens Hospital.
