About Kandy Lodge Dental Care
A family oriented team treats patients at this dental clinic located at Ruabon in Wrexham, Wales. Private patients, Denplan patients and children under the NHS are treated by the qualified and experienced team at the clinic. Preventive dentistry and the long term dental and oral health of patients is the primary concern of the team. Services provided include children’s NHS dentistry, examinations and hygiene services, general dental care, the cosmetic improvement of the smile of patients, fitting dentures or surgically placing implants to replace missing teeth and the administration of anti-aging facial injectables.

Biography: Qualified Bristol 1979 and was fortunate to start work in Connah’s Quay in a practice with a caring ethos- giving a good foundation for when he set up a new practice in Ruabon in 1984. Alan is keen on education - he spent 5 years as a clinical sessional assistant in orthodontics to Mr. J.G. Heyes at the Maelor hospital when the practice started.He has since devoted many weeks per year on courses to further his skills and knowledge in aesthetics, cosmetics, endodontics and implants culminating in 2006 being awarded a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies (DPDS). Alan has an interest in endodontics (root fillings) and is regularly asked to run courses on endodontics to recently qualified dentists and sometimes his peers.
