Biography: He committed to providing comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and professional atmosphere. As a child he had more than my fair share of unhappy experiences of dentists, so I can truly relate to other people’s fear. He graduated from my professional training in 2004. He was lucky enough to be trained in orthodontics by one of the leading experts in the country, Dr Derek Mahony in Sydney. During my training I became proficient in advanced cosmetic procedures, and I am an active member of specialised continuous dental educational programs, which allows me to keep current with the changing technology and procedures in dentistry. He also a member of these associations: Australian Dental Association.

Biography: She is better known as Kat to all her patients, grew up in Melbourne before moving to Hervey bay since marrying Dr Khaled in 2014. Dr Kat graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2007, having won numerous prizes and awards for her academic achievements throughout her degree. She worked for 7 years in the heart of Melbourne CBD, in the largest privately owned practice in Australia. During her time at Smile Solutions, Dr Kat had the privileged of working among Australia’s leading dentists and specialists in every aspect of dentistry. Her nterests include cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, veneers and wrinkle treatments and facial injectables. One thing Dr Kat really enjoys is being able to help patients who have dental phobias or who are nervous about visiting the dentist overcome these fears so they can regain good dental health and all the benefits this can bring. Dr Kat takes a holistic approach to dentistry and is always conscious of the impact on general health and wellbeing.

Biography: She is our Practice Manager and has lived in Hervey Bay her whole life. Teresa started working at Lakeside Dental Spa in November of 2010 and has prospered at our practice ever since. She went to school locally in Hervey Bay and has had proficient experience in customer service where she has worked as both 2IC and manager. Teresa also has proficient experience in insurance with a Certificate in Domestic Insurance and financial services. She takes interest in photography, cooking, fitness and nutrition. Teresa really enjoys spending time with family and travelling – she has already been to Bali, Thailand, New Zealand, Hawaii and parts of Australia, Teresa is even hopes that her travels take her all the way over to America, Mexico, Paris and the Greek Islands.
