Biography: MD, FACOG, FASBP, FABAAM, is triple Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Bariatric Medicine and Anti-Aging and Integrative Medicine. She is also certified in Sex Therapy. Dr. Hakkarainen specializes in functional medicine and hormonal health and is a professor of the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is involved in her community, chairing and sitting on numerous boards. In her spare time, Dr. Hakkarainen plays the violin. She lectures nationally, has appeared on Lifetime Television and ABC News and writes articles for numerous publications.
