About Lightwood Dental Care
This dental clinic is well known in Buxton in Derbyshire for the high standards of dental treatments and high quality patient care. We are proud to say that 95% of our new patients are from referrals through existing patients of our dental practice. Our dental procedures performed include Cerec one visit restorations including crowns, bridges and dentures, fitting veneers, gum contouring and teeth reshaping, decay detection, mouth cancer screening, children’s dentistry, surgical placement of dental implants, oral surgery, root canal treatments, white fillings and teeth straightening using invisible braces. Biography: BDS MSc GDC No. 62558 He qualified from Manchester University in 1987, obtaining his MSc from the same university in 1991. He originally started the practice in 1989 when it was situated on Lightwood Road. He has been involved in many research projects within both Manchester and Birmingham Universities, and to date is a co-author of 33 research papers, some of which he has presented at conferences both in the UK and abroad.
