Dr. Kaplan Baha Temizgonul is well known member of bariatric society. He is a member of International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders ( IFSO), The Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons (TUGS), Turkish Obesity Society (TOSS), Turkish Surgical Association ( TCD) and Turkish Medical Association (TTB).
Dr. Kaplan Baha Temizgonul is fluent in English, moderate in German and beginner in Russian and Spanish.

Biography: Dr Kaplan Baha Temizgönül is highly skilled in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He has had extensive training in bariatric surgery. His patients consider him professional and easy to communicate with. Dr Baha is a graduate of Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, which is at the forefront of sleeve gastrectomy in Turkey. He earned his medical degree in 2005. In 2007, Dr Baha took his Medical Licensing Examination in the United States. Since then, he has been published in several medical journals. Dr Baha completed his residency training at Bakirkoy Dr Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital, which has the highest number of laparoscopic surgeries. Dr Baha was recruited for suburban practice at the Syrian border between 2014 and 2015. During this time, he gained invaluable experience in war surgery and advanced laparoscopy. Today Dr Baha is married with children and runs his own practice. He speaks fluent English, moderate German, and is a beginner in Russian, Spanish.
Miss Merve Saraçoğlu

Biography: Merve Saraçoğlu graduated from İstanbul University of Commerce in the Psychology department. After that, she went on to complete the Clinical Psychology Programme at the University of Bristol. In 2013, Saraçoğlu finished her cognitive and behavioural therapy education and became a psychotherapist. She also completed the European Psychodrama Organisation courses. Saraçoğlu has carried out research on eating disorders and anxiety at Brighton Sussex University. Since 2017, she has been providing psychological support and diet motivation to our patients.

Biography: Madina Zahitoglu graduated from Mugla Sitki Kocman University, Department of Nursing in 2020.In 2020, she decided to continue her business life, which she started in private hospitals in Istanbul in 2022, in bariatric surgery nursing and started working as an operating room and clinic nurse in our clinic. She takes an active role in bariatric surgery operations and postoperative follow-up of patients.She provides support for our patients on postoperative process, following-up of the wound healing process, medication training and physical activity counseling. She is working with a positive attitude as the Coordinator and the Bariatric Nurse of Dr. Kaplan Baha Temizgonul’s Bariatric Surgery Team.She speaks English fluently.

Biography: Dietitian Ece Ceylan graduated from Bahçeşehir University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics as an "Honor" student in 2021. She is currently continuing her Master's degree at her school.Dietitian Ece Ceylan has developed herself in the field of bariatric surgery, which she has been particularly interested in since her undergraduate education, and has participated in internships, trainings, certificate programs and studies.
