Biography: I attended the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical School of Semmelweis University in Budapest from where I received my diploma in 1982. I was a resident at the Szent István Hospital (Saint Stephen Hospital) and completed my qualification exam in general surgery in 1987. I worked one and a half years at the Plastic Surgery Department of the Szövetség utcai Hospital then completed an additional one and a half years at the Plastic Surgery Department of The Goethe University in Frankfurt on a DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) scholarship. I completed my qualification exam of Plastic Surgery in Budapest in 1991.
